Since i loves to eat crab so much,whenever i come back home for holiday, my mom will cook for our family this Sweet Sauce Crab with Green Onions to celebrate me and what i love the most is the taste of this dish is super delicious..!Actually it's kind a like traditional old style recipe from generations down when i got to know my mom learnt it from popo and now i got the recipe :)And since my popo came from China, i'm used to China style meal since i was a kid and most of the dish i cook everday basically have the Chinese touch in it~
BTW, i got a box of fresh crab last week and i decided to try on the recipe.. Hihihi.. well, it's not as good as my mom's dish but still boleh laa~ Hoho.. Really can't wait for the next February to get back to Malaysia.Too sad this year too i'll miss the moment celebrating the Chinese New Year with my family.. huhu.. Oh My Hongbao~
For the Sweet Sauce Crab with Green Onions , you'll need:
- medium size fresh crab
- green onions, sliced
- red onions,sliced
- ginger, sliced
- 2-3 cloves of garlic, minced
- Some red chili peppers, chopped
- 2 tablespoons of corn starch
- 4 big spoon of chilli sauce
- two eggs
- margarine
- salt and sugar
1.chop the fresh crab into half.slice the green onions,red onions,ginger,garlic and chop chilli peppers, set them aside.
2.melt 4 spoon of margarine and add in all the sliced and chopped ingedients until aromatic.Then add in two eggs and fry untill it's crunchy.
3.add in 4 big spoon of chilli sauce,two tablespoons of corn starch and a half cup of water.
4.add in salt and sugar according to your taste and add in the fresh crab .
5.cook with medium high heat and cover the wok and let the crab steam for 10 minutes.
6.garnish with some sliced green onions and serve hot.It's best to eat with hot white rice :)
Tadaaaa..~ hihi.. can't beat mama's dish but still, i manage to cook this by my own now.Yiipppee~
