Beppu Station Hotel ,Oita

Assalammualaikum readers.. :)
When we had our tour to Oita last weekend,my hubby and i decided to settle a night at Beppu Station Hotel as the journey from saga to Oita could be exhausting ,take up to 5~6 hours one way.(we used the AFRICAN SAFARI HIGHWAY EXPRESS BUS -高速サファリジャングルきっぷ).Originally, we intended to have a great time at the African Safari Zoo,Oita the whole day, but we extended our trip and alas, we even visited another three amazing places;Umitamago Aquarium,Mt. Takasakiyama Monkey Park and Beppu Tower.

Nikko Hotel - Huis Ten Bosch

Assalammualaikum peeps.. :)
Booking a room at Nikko Hotel through booking.com was never a mistake. Why? Because we loved it and our trip to Huis Ten Bosch at Nagasaki was fantastic that weekend. The hotel was superb and the location was so close to HTB.I loved it when the hotel staff could keep our bags and have it sent straight to our room even though it was not check in time yet.Ohhh, and about the HTB entrance ticket, you'll need to purchase the HTB ticket at the HTB ticket booth itself for your entrance to HTB.Nikko hotel does not sell/ provide any HTB entrance ticket like other official hotels do.

Serba Sedikit Tentang Jepun...!!

Serba sedikit tentang Jepun...

Hokkaido (北海道)
Hokkaido juga digelar 雪国(YukiGuni)=negara salji , kerana saban tahun sering menerima turunan salji yang banyak di Jepun.
Terkenal juga dengan 雪祭り

Honshu (本州)

Kyushu(九州)

Shikoku(四国)

Travel Apps

Useful apps while travelling in Japan

Travelling in Japan had always been fun and exciting as there are many things to learn, enjoy and discover here. We've been living in Japan almost two years and much of the holiday we spent here were strolling around and experience new things. But being a foreigner sometimes the journey couldn't get right just as we planned due to various factors. Thus, here are some tips that we think might be helpful to foreign travelers who are planning to explore Japan.

1.Mapping
The main rule for travelling no matter where your destination would be is know your way. You'll need to have a good plan so that your journey will go smoothly and not ending up over your budget on unnecessary things. So plan ahead by using Google Maps, jot down all the places that you wish to visit and search for the location. In Japan, for big cities like Osaka or Tokyo or etc, most of the travellers probably will not find it too hard to read the tourist map around here but in rural area, you might find it quite troublesome to read the Kanji especially when finding buses on the schedule board.By using Google Maps you can check the time, distance, number of the bus, fare (for some cases)and arrival plus departure destination.

2.Transportation
If you can't speak or read in Japanese at all, Hyperdia might be the best choice for you to check the schedule for trains around Japan.Hyperdia is easy to use, you can even choose what type of train you prefer to ride on by adjusting the setting and even "press while speaking" button is provided. As others apps, Hyperdia can give you the specific time, fare, which station and train number and even the whole journey total time and how many (norikae)times you'll need to switch trains too.For the time being, we can't find any apps for buses in English but you can simply search for the access and bus number via internet and jot down all the information needed.Plus, if you can do extra work, print down the place that you wish to visit in Kanji and show it to the Japanese that you'll ask at the information center.

3.Food
Finding delicious food would not be a problem at all in Japan as there are many good restaurants annd stalls around here. But finding Halal food supplier and restaurants that provide Halal food would not be that easy and hence we recommend Halal Gourmet.Halal Gourmet also provides compass and Qiblat for the ease of your journey. For non muslims,GURUNAVI would be handy.

4.Islamic
We've been using Muslim Pro for the two years since we came to Japan and we have no problem at all with this app.Muslim Pro provides you the specific time for prayers according to every region of places that you wish to know, Quran,Qiblat,Azan for prayers,Islamic calendar, some Dua, and etc. There are much more apps that you will find but for us, Muslim Pro might be good enough for travelling around.

5.Translate
Wandering around Japan without knowing any word in Japanese would be difficult and do take note that it is quite hard to communicate in other language(even English) in Japan. When you are stuck in the midst of trouble, you might wanna ask for help or direction but still you're stuck with the language.Don't worry and let Coori JED do the work and translate the words you want.

6.Safety
Travelling around Japan, no doubt it is safe and peaceful but for the natural disaster like earthquake, sometimes we human can't predict what or when the disaster will occur.Yurekuru might be the best choice for you to check out the latest news for natural disaster occurring around Japan.

Well, these are some of the tips for good apps when travelling around Japan so that the whole journey will go smooth. There are much more useful apps that you can download but these are the one that we prefer when getting around Japan.

Golden Week 2017 - Uminonakamichi Seaside Park

Assalammualaikum folks..

How's the day going on? It's the Golden Week now in Japan where we get to spend three days holiday (Constitution Day,Greenery Day and 子供の日: Children's Day)for the rest weekday starting yesterday..!!! Yiiipppiiiee...~ So we have plenty of time strolling around Japan enjoying the rest 春(spring) before the summer comes >_<
We had a great time wandering and experiencing new things around the 海の中道(Uminonakamichi) Seaside Park as there were many things to explore and events to be joined. We're quite disappointed when we found there was no any bicycle left for rent even though we got there early. T_____T We cycled last time when we're there but this time, we explore there by walking.New style new adventure i guess :)[自転車に乗れなくて、悔しかったのに~]
We grabbed a map and headed to the Wonder World for a sweet yummy ice cream (350¥per person) as it was hot. Then we rocked the ground by riding the Go-Cart On Road(500yen per prson).Khairi drove :p .There were many rides with range of prices but mostly are for kids !!! -_-Btw, for the Go-Cart, we choosed the on road for leisure even though we knew that the off road would be much more difficult and challenging.Everyone was so excited especially kids and you can see people setting tents and picnic sheets everywhere.Just feel free to bring along a mat and have a nice picnic around like we did.
The view was so fantastic and it got better as we entered the garden zone..!!You'll see thousands of colorful flowers blooming around with beautiful decorations .What a feast for our eyes..!!!We enjoyed spending the whole afternoon around the Flower Clock, Colorful Flower Garden,Colorful Pond and Canal Water Fountain Terrace. For memories,we had took many great pictures at the Flower Museum and Rose Garden. The scenery was amazing and we would love to come back every year..!
Next, we strolled to the Animal Forest to play around with about 500 little cute animals there with more than 50 species like capybaras, kangaroos,Bolivian squirrel monkey and many more.As it is Golden Week now, there are plenty of events you can have your hands on and get to touch and feed them at the Animal Petting Farm.We then had a walk around the Forest of Relaxation and visited the Forest House.
Before we ended our journey, we took a walk by the Flower Hill, next to the Large Open Field and walk through the Sky Dolphin where the kids having their adventure around the large pirate ship and sky dolphin playground bar.
Well, it was exhausting as the place was way too big but we really had great times and wonderful memories there. If you ever come to  Fukuoka,Kyushu , then Uminonakamichi Seaside Park is a must for you to visit with your family or friends :)
