Fukuoka Tower

Designated as the National Genkai Sea Park, Fukuoka with its abundant nature has been a prosperous city for international exchange, opening its gates to the Asian continent from ancient times.  Representing this city of ours is the Waterfront area ‘Seaside Momochi’. Fukuoka Tower, located at the center of this area was built in 1989 as a monument of the Asian Pacific Expo (Yokatopia), an event to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the enforcement of the Fukuoka City organization.
The 234m high tower is covered with 8000 half mirrors and is the tallest seaside tower in Japan. You will be able to see the urban functions, nature and culture of Fukuoka city at once from the observation room at 123m.

Fukuoka Tower opens at 9.30 a.m and close at 10.00p.m. Remember, admission until 30 minutes before closing time..! The entrance price: (Adult:800 yen,student:500 yen, child:200 yen and 65years above:500 yen).There are restaurants to have meals at and photo booths around there.Souveniers shops are abundant and there is also Seven Eleven(convenience store) there..!You can bring along your own food and drinks:)
